LAND AD is an architecture and design firm based in Baja California Sur, Mexico, founded in 2017 by Architects Juan Carlos Ugarte Vivanco and Bernardo Garcia Murillo. Together they have more than 15 years of experience in High End residential design and build projects.
VISION:
The vision of LAND is the approach of design as the consequence of the site and its unique values, the pursuit of the intangible elements that surround it, on the premise of design as a response to the site and the utmost respect for nature, the value and diversity it offers. Grounded on specific coordinates, but inspired by the value of the immediate environment, this reflects in the use of prime local materials and skill in order to deliver a project with the highest standards that belongs to its geographical setting.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY:
Our philosophy is simple: We do not seek for a particular style; we work with ideas rather than forms. Each project has its own approach. We methodically analyze the site and particular characteristics, and we truly believe that every project we design should have its own identity according to the client’s specific way of living, requests and needs, and in partnership with them, achieve the best outcome possible.

We love what we do. We try to keep our firm small so that us, the partners, have the opportunity (and the need), to look over our projects by paying attention to every detail from scratch to final delivery, most importantly, to take care of our clients needs by having direct and instant communication with them, before, during and after the whole process.
